ALPHA—Stay Curious

After a successful ALPHA course last year we will be running another one this year. The course will start in September and will last for 11 weeks..

What is Alpha? Alpha is a chance to ask questions and explore the Christian faith in a fun, no pressure environment.

Alpha takes place across 11 Sessions on a Tuesday evening with one Alpha Friday evening and Saturday during the day which is full of interesting talks, fun activities and good food!

How does it work? Each session includes food, a short talk, and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts.

What if I try it and don’t like it? If at any point you decide Alpha isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. There’s no pressure, no follow up and no charge. Meetings start at 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

WALK OF WITNESS As usual, G52 Churches Together has organised the Walk of Witness which will take placeon Good Friday 18^th April, 2025.   The walk will start at OUR LADY AND ST. GEORGE CHURCH in Sandwood Road with a short act of worship at 10.00 a.m.   The walk will then proceed to Hillington Road South onto Paisley Road West and stop at the vacant area next to Poundstretcher’s.   There will be a short act of worship there and it will then continue on Paisley Road West turning left at the lights for Morrison’s Car Park and along the lane next to Hillington Park Church.   There will be a service at approximately 11 a.m. followed by Tea, Coffee and Hot Cross Buns in the Hall.   Everyone is invited to join this walk or simply come to the service in our church.   We look forward to a good turnout from Hillington Park Church.
